1. Get Updates

2. Install Programs
a) Google Chrome
(1) open terminal
(2) wget https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
(3) sudo dpkg -i google-chrome*.deb
b) Synaptic Package Manager**
c) Banshee
(1) sudo add-apt-repository ppa:banshee-team/ppa
(2) sudo apt-get update
(3) sudo apt-get install banshee
d) Activities and Privacy Manager Tool**
e) XBMC
(1) sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc/ppa
(2) sudo apt-get update
(3) sudo apt-get install xbmc xbmc-bin
f) Audacious
(1) sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nilarimogard/webupd8
(2) sudo apt-get update
(3) sudo apt-get install audacious
g) PuTTY SSH Client**
h) GIMP
i) gThumb Image Viewer**
j) Handbrake
(1) sudo apt-get install ubuntu-resticted-extras
(2) sudo apt-get update
(3) sudo apt-get install handbrake handbrake-cli
(4) sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread4/install-css.sh
(5) sudo add-apt-repository ppa:stebbins/handbrake-snapshots
(6) sudo apt-get update
(7) sudo apt-get install handbrake-gtk
k) MAME**
l) KeePass2**
m) vlc
(1) sudo add-apt-repository ppa:videolan/stable-daily
(2) sudo apt-get update
(3) sudo apt-get install vlc
n) Puddle Tag**
o) Ubuntu Tweak

3. Remove Programs

c) Aisleriot Solitare
d) Deja-Dup
e) Gnome-Sudoku
f) Gnome-Mahjongg

4. Other
a) Install NVIDIA drivers
(1) open terminal
(2) sudo apt-get install nvidia-current
b) GNOME Extensions
(1) Bottom Panel
(2) Applications Menu
(3) Format Clock
c) Create UDEV rules to ignore Windows HDDs in Nautilus
