After using GNOME Shell on Zorin OS 6.2 for about one month, I have decided to reformat my 500 GB hard drive and create a new install making my Linux distribution entirely 100% Ubuntu. I still believe Zorin OS 6.2 is a very good distribution because of its appeal to Windows users who want to use Linux with a Windows-like desktop environment. I began using Zorin OS at version 5.2 back in March 2012 and have continued using Zorin OS up to version 6.2 to the present time of April 2013. Therefore, I have decided to abandon Zorin at this time in favor of using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with GNOME Shell as its desktop environment.
I have decided to use the Ubuntu GNOME Shell Remix 12.04 that I found on the sourceforge.net website as the foundation for my setup since it already has Ubuntu 12.04 and GNOME shell is already installed.
