Clonezilla:
A nice backup utility that will save a specific partition of a hard drive or a complete image of a hard drive. I have used this to backup my computers with Windows 7 and Zorin OS 6. It is always wise to have a backup plan just in case of a hard drive failure or an install of an unwanted application that makes your system non-functional. With a successfully restored backup, you can revert to a state when your computer was working normally. Clonezilla has no GUI and everything is displayed in text. In the Zorin OS Forum, someone suggested to try Redo Backup which has a nice GUI and is very easy to use. The only thing I did not like about Redo Backup is that it did not verify the saved image as Clonezilla does during the backup process.

Kupfer:
A simple program launcher and file locator. I use this application as a secondary launcher if the Zorin OS menu happens to fail while in Windows 7 mode.
