Dual booting Windows 7 and Zorin OS -- System clock changing fix
E-mails I posted in the Zorin OS forum...

I have Windows 7 installed on one hard drive and Zorin OS 64-bit installed on another hard drive. I'll boot using Zorin and notice that the clock is not displaying the correct time. However, I'll wait a 2-3 minutes and the time displays correctly. However, when I boot back to use Windows 7, the clock is showing the incorrect time. The clock seems to change everytime I switch back and forth from using Windows 7 to Zorin and vice-versa. Any suggestions?
Also, when I select the start menu and do a search for Date and Time (or it could be Time and Date), I notice that there are two items of Date and Time displaying.

SOLUTION:
sudo gedit /etc/default/rcS
Once in the file, find UTC=yes. Change the line to read UTC=no. Save file. Reboot computer.
I have had no more system clock problems after this simple fix when dual booting between Windows 7 and Zorin OS 5.2 (64-bit).
